Manisha Kotian is a daughter of immigrants. She moved to Cincinnati when she was two years old and grew up in Sharonville and West Chester areas with her brother.
As a graduate of Lakota High School (when it was just Lakota), she was on the debate team, mock trial, and played varsity tennis. Manisha went to the University of Cincinnati majoring in Marketing and Management and continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law.
Manisha and her family are avid football fans and huge supporters of the UC Bearcats and Cincinnati Bengals. Even in Pittsburgh, Manisha remained a Bengals fan. Her campaign colors reflect her love of soccer and support of FC Cincinnati.
Manisha is very involved and active in the Aruna project whose mission is to bring and sustain freedom to women and children exploited in commercial sex trafficking.
Manisha loves to cook and experiment with different recipes. She enjoys trying new things, especially recipes from different cultures and ethnicities.
Manisha is fluent in Hindi and loves Bollywood dancing.
